There is plenty of outdoor space and seating within a private enclosed woodland garden. There is a small covered porch if the weather is less pleasant.

The perfect Lake District getaway with easy links to all the popular hotspots including Coniston, Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere.

Nestled near the top of the estate, this prime location offers effortless access to Crag Head and Loughrigg Tarn via the upper gate. You’ll enjoy a wide variety of birds and sometimes even the red squirrel amongst the trees around the lodge.

Entering the lodge to the open plan kitchen/dining and lounge. The modern and light kitchen is fully equipped with single electric oven with hob, microwave, toaster, undercounter fridge with a freezer compartment ,You’ll find the kitchen fully kitted out for entertaining around the dining table.

The lounge offers a sophisticated sanctuary designed for effortless relaxation after a day exploring the Langdale fells. At the heart of the space is a curated blend of seating, anchored by iconic, handpicked pieces of classic British Ercol furniture. Celebrated for its heritage and exceptional craftsmanship, these prestigious designs beautifully elevate the lodges refined Scandinavian aesthetic. Curated local artwork adorns the walls,while a hand-selected collection of regional books and maps lines the shelves-each thoughtful detail coming together to enrich and elevate your Lake District experience.

A Smart TV and Wi-Fi are provided for entertainment or if you prefer nature to entertain you, there are large picture windows allowing you to view the birds and woodland species who call Neaum Crag home.

The master bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, wardrobe, set of drawers, and a wall mounted electric heater. The room benefits from patio doors with access on to the small covered veranda to catch the morning bird song with a coffee in hand in 1 of the 2 comfy seats.

The twin bedroom, with full size single beds, has a fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinet with drawers, mirror, bedside lamp, and electric panel heater.

After a rewarding day exploring the fells, the bathroom offers the perfect retreat to soothe tired muscles with a deep soak in the bath or a refreshing overhead shower. This bright, functional space is fully equipped with a washbasin, toilet, electric towel rail to keep your towels beautifully warm, a mirror, and a small storage unit for your essentials.

The fully enclosed garden is primarily laid with gravel and local flagstones, creating a secure environment where children and dogs can freely wander in and out of the property doors. Tucked away at the back, a private woodland garden features a large outdoor table and benches—perfect for alfresco dining. With two distinct seating areas and a charming covered porch, you can always find a quiet spot to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book, whatever the weather.

Holehird Tarn lodge is a perfect location for visiting the quaint Lakeland villages and you are spoilt for choice with Ambleside, Coniston, and Hawkshead all being a short drive away, and with Grasmere a casual walk away, down Deer Bolts Wood and along the lake path. Perfect for visiting Grasmere for a bite to eat or one of the many country inns.
