Angle Tarn Lodge is situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park set within 18 acres of private woodland estate with a southerly sunny aspect with woodland views. Perfect for a couples retreat with the added bonus of zip and link beds for families in the school holidays. With private parking for two vehicles, guests can park up and leave on foot in all directions making it a great location to explore the countryside.

Situated in the heart of Neaum Crag Estate with woodland views, Angle Tarn lodge commands a sunny, south west aspect.  With private parking for two vehicles, guests can park up and leave on foot in all directions.  A short drive from many of the traditional Lakeland villages making it a great location to explore the countryside.

Angle Tarn is one of two letting “A” Frame lodges on the estate, with attractive exposed structural beams within the living area.

Enter to the hallway with coat hooks and shoe storage you’ll be lead into the open plan modern and bright kitchen, including electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment and Dining table to seat 4.

The living area features a large 3-seater leather sofa and 2 comfy chairs, an electric wood burner effect heater, Smart TV, nest of tables, free Wi-Fi to help you plan your weeks adventures and double doors leading out to the patio where guests can sit back with a glass of wine in the evening watching the wildlife go about their business.

Angle Tarn features 2 bedrooms, the perfect space in which to accommodate 2 couples or a family. The Master offering you the option to be a Twin or a Super King with 2 small sets of drawers, coat stand and pegs to hang items, the room commands a lot of natural light with a large Velux roof light and windows, imagine getting cozy with a hot chocolate while gazing through the roof light at the stars.

The second bedroom a Double offers a chest of drawers with mirror and Smart TV, hanging rail , and bedside shelving.

The bathroom has a modern three-piece suite with shower cubicle with an electric shower, WC and wash hand basin. There is underfloor heating to keep your toes toasty, an opening window, mirror , an electric towel rail and ample storage in two drawers under the sink.

Outside the property guests will be spoilt for choice for seating areas, whether that be sat tucked away in privacy enjoying a brew on the undercover bench in the morning listening to the dawn call, or soaking in the late afternoon sun, dining alfresco on the front with the patio doors open the outside and inside really do become one.

The property offers complimentary use of the onsite swimming pool open daily from 1st March - 15th November.

Set amongst the private Estate of Neaum Crag, Angle Tarn Lodge offers walking from all directions.  Why not park up and leave the car for your stay, with the Langdale Rambler 516 bus route a 10 minute walk from the lodge which runs every hour within the main tourist season.

Easy access for walking to Elterwater along the river Brathay, visiting the Britannia Inn for a hearty pub meal and local real ale. Alternatively walking round Loughrigg tarn to Loughrigg fell leading to Ambleside within a 45-minute walk.

The Villages of Ambleside, Grasmere and Coniston are a few miles away. There are plenty of outdoor stores for picking up walking, climbing and biking essentials, cafes, restaurants and public houses offering food.

You can hop on one of the Windermere Lake Cruises at Waterhead Ambleside, taking the full length journey of the lake down to Lakeside and enjoy afternoon tea at the Lakeside Hotel, or visit the steam railway also at Lakeside.
