Kemp Tarn sits in an enviable location on this stunning woodland estate that is Neaum Crag, with breathtaking views across both this woodland estate and some of the Lake District fells beyond. Kemp Tarn is just a short drive from many of the popular destinations in the Lake District including Ambleside, Grasmere, Langdale, Coniston and Hawkshead, making it an ideal location to explore everything the Lake District has to offer. It has the added benefit of having several great pubs and cafes all within walking distance from the lodge.

On driving up to this lodge you will notice its large private patio area with extensive furniture a kettle style BBQ, making it a great outdoor space for evening entertaining while enjoying the breath taking views that surround this stunning woodland destination. Kemp Tarn also benefits from ample private parking and has limited steps up to the property, making it perfect for those with walking difficulties.

Entering the property, you walk into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area which creates a great space for socialising. The living area features an extra large 4-seater sofa and two additional chairs. There is also a range of maps and walking books, with which you can plan the following days walk with. This property also has the added benefit of having free Wi-Fi and a television. This whole space is beautifully decorated throughout.

From the living area there is a dining table that seats 6 people which leads into the modern bright kitchen area, a great space for creating some amazing dishes in. The kitchen area has an electric oven, microwave, full fridge and freezer, a dishwasher and has the addition of a washer dryer.

The master bedroom is tastefully decorated with a comfy king bed and features an ensuite bathroom, built in wardrobe, electric panel heater and patio doors leading out to the rear porch area and patio where you can enjoy your morning breakfast, setting you up for the day of exploring the Lake District. There are two further bedrooms, one twin bedroom and one twin bunk bedroom, both of which are a good size. There is also a modern bathroom suite featuring shower cubicle with Mira electric shower, helping you to refresh after a long day on the fells. The bathroom also has the benefit of an electric towel rail.

The property also has access to the onsite swimming pool, games room and Laundry all located just a short walk from Kemp Tarn, open daily from 1st March - 15th November.

Kemp Tarn holiday lodge is a short drive from many of the popular Lake District destinations, and this property is a great base for those larger families, or those families who don’t want their family dog to miss out on the Lake District adventure. We recommend heading out to Coniston for the day where you can take a boat ride across the beautiful Coniston Water. Once finished you could also head up the popular Coniston Old Man and depending on what route you take is about 6 miles and takes about 3-4 hours to complete. There are also some great pubs in the village of Coniston where you can grab some lunch and sample some local ale.
