Haskew Tarn Lodge is located on the popular, secluded, stunning woodland estate of Neaum Crag nestled away in a private cul-de-sac, just a short distance from the popular village of Ambleside in the heart of the Lake District with a range of walks from the doorstep.

Driving onto this secluded estate you immediately feel a sense of tranquility. Neaum Crag is arguably one of the more secluded accommodation destinations in the Lake District, yet only a short drive away from the busier villages of the Lake District makes it a perfect base for those looking to recharge and reconnect with friends and family. Haskew Tarn Lodge occupies an enviable position nestled away in a private secluded cul-de-sac surrounded by natural woodland on this popular holiday lodge estate and sleeps up to 4 people. From the parking area the lodge sits in an elevated position and is accessible by 3 sets of shallow steps.

The property features a Scandinavian style interior with wood paneling throughout giving a real sense of connection to the surrounding woodland. A compact modern well-equipped kitchen leads off the open plan living and dining area, with single oven, induction hob, extractor fan, microwave, kettle, toaster and under counter fridge with freezer box. There is a dining area which features a circular dining table with 4 chairs. The lounge consists of two two-seater sofas for relaxing on while watching TV/DVD, reading a book, or planning the next day’s adventures using one of the many walking books. With electric wood burner heater and patio doors leading out to the secure decked area with tables and chairs where you can enjoy a glass of wine on while enjoying the spectacular Lake District sunsets burn orange over the stunning landscape of this holiday lodge estate.

The double bedroom has wardrobe space and a set of drawers, bedside cabinet, and vanity unit with mirror. The views from this bedroom look over the decked area and the woodland estate beyond. There is a good sized second bedroom featuring two single beds a bedside cabinet and wardrobe with views across the woodland estate from the window. The bathroom has an electric Mira shower with shower cubicle, WC, and wash hand basin, perfect for refreshing for those long days exploring the stunning Lake District fells. There is also the addition of a mirror, shaver point and an electric towel rail.

The property also has access to the onsite swimming pool, games room and Laundry all located just a short walk from the lodge, open daily from 1st March - 15th November.

We highly recommend making the most of this holiday lodge location, with numerous walks on the doorstep, why not head out and tackle the popular Stickle Tarn at the end of the Langdale Valley, the climb up is tough but the views back down the valley are so rewarding and if you are feeling adventurous you could extend the walk and tackle Pavey Ark and Stickle Pike. Once back down we would highly recommend grabbing something to eat and drink from the popular Old Dungeon Ghyll pub, a popular and rewarding destination for many who complete this walk with some great local ale on offer.

NB. This lodge is up 3 sets of steps from its parking, Do not book if mobility is an issue.
