About Flat Tarn
Flat Tarn Lodge is located towards the top of the estate in a small cul-de-sac of lodges. Perfect for families with small children and dogs with the grassed picnic area and public footpath to Loughrigg Tarn being as close as a 5-minute walk.
Private parking for 1 car. Additional parking short walk from lodge. Sheltered decked porch and patio area.
Enter to the open plan kitchen/dining area. With a modern and bright kitchen, including electric oven and separate hob, Hotpoint Combi microwave oven, fridge with a freezer compartment and slim line dishwasher. Circular dining table to seat 4.
The lounge consists of a large leather 2 seater sofa and 2 comfy chairs, flat screen TV, DVD, and an electric wood burner effect heater and electric panel heater wall mounted.
The double bedroom has built in wardrobes and dresser unit, with an electric wall mounted heater, with double patio doors leading on to the covered porch. The twin bedroom has two single beds, which are standard size. There is a double fitted wardrobe, full length mirror and wall mounted flat screen TV.
The bathroom has a modern three-piece suite with shower cubicle with a Mira electric shower, WC and wash hand basin. There is a mirror, with light and shaver point above the sink and an electric towel rail.

Out and About
Set amongst the private Estate of Neaum Crag, Flat Tarn Lodge offers walking from all directions. Why not park up and leave the car for your stay, with the Langdale Rambler 516 bus route a 10minute walk from the lodge which runs every hour within the main tourist season.
Easy access for walking to Elterwater along the river Brathay, visiting the Britannia Inn or the Elterwater Cafe for a quick snack. Alternatively walking round Loughrigg tarn to Loughrigg fell leading to Ambleside within a 45-minute walk.
Walking from the door couldn’t be easier with the main footpath through the estate offering
The Villages of Ambleside, Grasmere and Coniston are a few miles away. There are plenty of outdoor stores for picking up walking, climbing and biking essentials, dog friendly cafes, restaurants and public houses offering food.
You can hop on one of the Windermere Lake Cruises at Waterhead Ambleside, taking the full length journey of the lake down to Lakeside and enjoy afternoon tea at the Lakeside Hotel, or visit the steam railway also at Lakeside.
After a busy day out exploring the area why not enjoy a dip in the onsite swimming pool, or by relaxing on the decked area with a book and a glass of your favorite tipple.
