Offering private parking outside the lodge. This lodge does not have a steep path or steps to climb to the property. Private decked area with outside furniture. An “A” frame lodge with attractive exposed structural beams within the living and dining area.
A compact well equipped kitchen leads off the open plan living and dining area, with electric oven with extractor, microwave, and fridge/freezer. The lounge consists of a large sofa and two comfy chairs for relaxing on while watching TV, reading a book or planning the next day’s walk, using the comprehensive book case of maps and walking books. Which are available for use during your stay.
The double bedroom has built in wardrobes and large chest of drawers. There is a decent sized twin bedroom also with fitted wardrobes and large chest of drawers. The bathroom has a modern three-piece suite with the added bonus of a bath to soak in after a long walk out on the fells with a Mira electric shower overhead, WC and wash hand basin. There is a shaver/light point and an electric towel rail.

Bringing along man’s best friend? You’ll be pleased to know this lodge is dog friendly. Positioned off the main foot path through site, you are within a 2-minute walk from fields to exercise your dog, please be aware farmers will use this field for livestock and you must keep your dog on a lead if sheep are present. A plethora of excellent Lake District dog friendly country pubs, cafes and restaurants are within both walking and driving distance.
Whether your ticking off the Wainwrights or driving the steepest Pass in England, Hardknott Pass, Neaum Crag Estate is well positioned within the heart of the Lake District. Neighboring villages of Ambleside, Coniston and Grasmere offer an abundance of gift shops cafes and restaurants, for those who prefer to leave the hiking to the outdoor enthusiasts and to potter round the picturesque villages.
