Neaum Crag Estate is set at the foot of the Langdale Valley, the location is great for any outdoor enthusiast or for those who are wanting to sit back, relax, and watch the abundance of birds, red squirrels and roe deer that visit the estate throughout the year.

A detached ground floor lodge, benefiting from natural woodland views out towards Little Loughrigg Fell. Positioned at the top of the estate the lodge provides a private location with a fenced in garden perfect for children and dogs, just off the public footpath for exploring the area on foot.
Entering through the main door into the modern open plan kitchen and dining area leading on to the lounge with patio doors opening out on to the deck and enclosed gravel patio, offering several outdoor seating areas to sit back and watch nature at its best. The lodge comes with its very own boot cupboard for storing muddy boots after a day out on the fells.
The kitchen and dining area consists of modern units, with electric cooker, hob and extractor hood, microwave, fridge and freezer, with all the cooking equipment you will need for your self-catering stay.
The dining area consists of a large table and 4 chairs which divides the kitchen and living area.
The Living area allows for guests to relax while watching TV, reading a book or looking out of the large picture window and patio doors watching the local birds feeding from feeders outside.
With ample comfy seating on a brown leather sofa and 2 swivel reclining leather chairs, SMART TV, DVD, Wi-Fi and an electric wood burning effect heater all provide home comforts during your stay.
The master bedroom has a modern twist with a paneled contrasting wall behind the King bed, bedside tables, reading lamps chest of drawers and double fitted wardrobes. The twin bedroom has 2 single beds with single fitted wardrobe and views from the window of the woodland garden.
The bathroom has a white 3-piece suite, shower cubicle with electric shower unit, electric towel rail and illuminated mirror wall cabinet and shaver point.
Guests have free use of the onsite indoor swimming pool during their stay open between 1st March - 15th November. Wi-Fi available free of charge in the pool hall building.
Cogra Moss Tarn Lodge is the perfect option for those wanting to escape the city life, Neaum Crag estate is centrally positioned for all local attractions within a short walk or car journey.
You may find with food supplies for your stay you no longer require the car with footpaths leading in all directions from the doorstep of Cogra Moss Tarn Lodge. With local wildlife surrounding the property don’t be surprised if you don’t see Roe Deer and Red Squirrels along with many woodland birds including owls who nest in the estate’s boundary trees. If wild swimming is your thing Loughrigg Tarn is a 10 min walk from the lodge and is a well-documented wild swimming location.
N.B. This property has a path and two sets of steps leading from the parking area and is not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
