Below are some of the popular questions we get asked. We hope this provides some useful information if you are considering booking a lodge at Neaum Crag Estate. How can I book a lodge?

Either through this website using our secure booking system, by phoning me (Heather) on 07824 553779 or by emailing me on info@neaumcragservices.co.uk

How much deposit do we need to pay?

25% of the total amount.

When is the balance due for our stay?

The balance is due exactly 8 weeks prior to arrival. You will receive a reminder via email, if you wish to pay. befor ethe 8 week date please send an email.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay with a debit or credit card at the time of booking. Bank transfers can be arranged for bookings made over the phone or for email enquiries.

Can I pay the deposit with one card and the balance with another?

Yes, as long as the card holder gives permission.

Can I pay the balance off early?

Yes, please email to request an early payment link.

Are bedding and towels provided?

Yes, all linen and towels are provided for the full occupancy of the property. However, you will need to bring swimming pool towels, we do request that you do not use the lodge towels at the facilities.

Are dogs allowed in the lodges?

Each individual lodge listing indicates whether pets are allowed. Please note there are some properties that do not accept pets.

Do all lodges provide Wi-Fi?

Each individual lodge listing indicates whether there is Wi-Fi in the property. For the lodges that do not provide Wi-Fi there is free Wi-Fi in the swimming pool hall during opening hours.Please note the Wi-Fi is provided Free of charge , . If a Wi-Fi service is available, it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and we make no warranties or representations whether express, statutory, or implied in relation to such Wi-Fi service. We do not warrant or guarantee the availability of any Wi-Fi service or the performance of the internet or that the transmission of information over the internet will be secure or that the internet will be always accessible or at the speeds indicated by us.

Is there mobile phone reception?

With being in the middle of the beautiful Lake District countryside, mobile phone reception can be poorer in certain areas including at Neaum Crag. However, we do have a payphone on-site in the pool hall building.

What are the swimming pool opening hours?

9am-7:30pm 7 days a week during the main season. The pool hall will be closed from 15th November to 1st March each year. Please note the swimming pool building is a free facility and if for any reason has to be closed due to regulations beyond our control you will not be entitled to any refunds on the accommodation rate paid.Please see T&C's of booking.

Do you have an on-site shop?

Unfortunately not. However, there is Co-op convenience store in Chapel Stile only 2 miles up the road, or Ambleside is only 3 miles away with a larger range of shops.

Do you allow supermarket deliveries?

Yes, before 9pm.

Where's the nearest pub?

The Talbot Bar, part of the Skelwith Bridge Hotel, is only a 5 minute walk from Neaum Crag Estate. Or the Britannia in Elterwater is a 30-45 minute walk.

Is there a local bus service?

Yes, Stagecoach 516 at Skelwith Bridge, just a 5 minute walk from Neaum Crag Estate.

Do you have a laundry on-site?

Yes, we have a coin-operated washer and dryer, which takes pound coins.

What time is check out?

Check in is 3pm and check out is 10am. Subject to change at the agents discretion

Is there recycling on-site?

Yes, we have a recycling hub in the for plastic, paper, cardboard cans and glass. It’s located in the centre of the estate next to the pool hall.

We have friends visiting us, will there be parking for them?

Yes, most lodges accommodate two cars outside. Additional parking can be found near the pool hall or at the large gravelled area at the top of the estate.
