A short walk from Neaum Crag Estate along a well trodden and wheeled along foot path wide enough for pushchairs and wheel chairs alike, you will take in the breathtaking scenery of the Langdale Pikes and the serenity of Elterwater.
On a sunny day what better an excuse then to take the dogs for a walk passing by Skelwith Force finishing up in Elterwater. Having a pint of real Ale sat in the beer garden at the Britannia Inn with the local Herdwick sheep grazing on the grassy mound in the centre of the small picturesque postcard village.
One of our favourite past-times of watching the world go by in the beer garden or sat by one of three wood burning stoves and open fires within the Inn talking to the friendly local staff and customers who holiday and comment on how lucky we are to be living and working in such a beautiful part of the world!
The Neaum Crag walks from site brochure is now available from the Neaum Crag Office with a small donation towards the printing of the brochure and to the local red squirrel foundation Trust.
