Just when we all thought Easter was over to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Beatrix Potter the Lake District will once again be taking part in the largest Easter egg hunt in the North West of England.
Taking place on Saturday 9th April 2016 from 10 am with both children and adults hopping their way to some great prizes. What more of an excuse could you want to explore the local area with the family then to be following clues to the location of the limited edition ceramic eggs hidden around the region.
Eggs have been located in previous years near to Neaum Crag Estate with eggs found near Loughrigg Tarn and in neighbouring Grasmere.
To take part a £2 per Family donation is made to the charity Water Aid.
